Senior Care Team Leader
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Leader to join our team. As a Senior Care Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the physical, emotional, and social needs of our service users in a care home setting. Your role will involve providing person-centered care, supervising support workers, and ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents.
About the Role?
- Provide personal care and support to service users with various needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
- Implement care plans using a person-centered approach while promoting independence and motivation.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as getting up in the morning, personal hygiene, dressing, and medication management.
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual preferences and dietary requirements.
- Perform light household duties including housekeeping and laundry as outlined in care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, medication support, and any tasks undertaken.
- Ensure a safe living environment for residents while respecting their choices and rights.
- Foster good communication and relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
- Supervise and support other support workers in delivering high-quality care services.
- Report any concerns or issues regarding resident care promptly to the appropriate management.
- Prepare rota/payroll and any other duties as required.

Requirements
- At least 2 years previous experience in a care home / Domiciliary environment is essential.
- Must hold a QCF level 3 or equivalent (desirable).
- Evidence of working towards QCF level 3.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide support staff effectively.
- Proficient in IT systems for maintaining records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Ability to drive is mandatory.
